Four State Comic Con (2019)

Welcome to another adventure within the multiverse! For this adventure, we are venturing into the world of the convention floor for one of our favorite conventions: FOUR STATE COMIC CON. This adventure has something for everyone. A little bit of familiar faces, zombies, the end of the world, new podcasting friends and more. Thanks to the guys over at Four State Comic Con for having us. Special thanks to Christopher Lumzer for producing the panel portion of this episode as well.

During our Nightwing episode, we sat down with Jason Seaux. Seaux is the artist on the horror superhero book, NecroMan. He gave us exclusive details about what’s in store next for our character. For the first portion of this episode, we are sitting down with Jason and NecroMan writer, Mark Schroll to discuss the future, inspirations and more for this This panel features a lot of good information for fans of the character, as well as a little surprise.

Kristina Knapp is a super talented individual. For one, she is the co-host and producer of the DC based podcast, Fugal Snobs. The show dissects practical ways in which individuals living in the DC area, can find the best affordable prices on everyday items. On the other hand, she is also the author and cover artist for the fantasy book series, Imperial Legends. Click here to find out more.

Matt Burns is no stranger to our show. We hold a special place in our hearts for Matt. Back when he was still doing conventions, Matt booked us on one of our first conventions ever. Matt is back to discuss a very different medium of which he is involved: the movie, Big Foot. Horror meets comedy in this very unique indie darling. Matt is talking about what it was like in those suits, the movie and more. Be on the look out for director, Matt Bryne, on our show in the very near future. Click here for more.

Do you remember when I said this episode features familiar faces? Matt isn’t the only face who is familiar on this episode. Chris Barcomb entered into our multiverse last spring to talk about Captain America, share his story for overcoming depression and his series, The Amazing Adventures of Superior Sam. It’s been a little bit of time since we’ve had him on our show and we wanna know what Sam has been up to. Join us for this interview and be sure to catch Chris on our Detective Comics #1000 episode in a couple of weeks. Click here for more.

Despite what you may believe, the imprint behind NecroMan has more to offer than just a horror based superhero. Imprint founder, Mark Scholl, and fellow creator John Krauss about what other series this imprint offers. From a weird children’s book to a slasher unlike any other. Paranoia Comics is just getting started.

Sometimes, we have to go outside of the studio to get the interview. The convention is merely the ground floor, such is the case with author Daniel Greene. Greene is the writer behind the book series, The End Times Saga. The series focuses on a zombie apocalypse. However, it stands out in the genre due to its unique narrative.
