IN THIS EPISODE…
Welcome to another adventure within the multiverse! For the last eight years, while Marvel has been blowing up the big screen with the adventures of the MCU – DC has been ushering in their own television universe known as the “Arrowverse”. What started in 2012 with a singular show to tell the story of DC’s version of Robin Hood has grown into so much more than that. The CW now boasts the reigns of The Flash, Supergirl, Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow and of course the show that started it all, Arrow. While we are on the heels of the largest crossover, the Arrowverse has ever seen in Crisis on Infinite Earths – it’s not going to come without some serious repercussions. The show that started the entire universe is coming to a close. While it’s been an impressive, fun and sometimes dull seven years – we’re counting down our top 10 moments, episodes & characters from Arrow. We’re not alone, though. Joining us on this journey is the man behind not one, but four, podcasts (The Spotlight, DC Prime Time, We Have to Go Back & Still Afraid of the Dark): Mr. Ben Beck!
THE BATWOMAN AWAKENING
The Arrowverse has largely come to be known famous for many things. One of the things that fans love most about this universe, though, is its annual winter crossover. Starting in 2014’s seasons, the first crossover was the meeting of Arrow and The Flash to take down Captain Boomerang. While the next year only got bigger with the introduction of the Legends of Tomorrow teaming up to take down Randall Savage. The following year, only bigger, going against aliens and bringing the limited series Invasion to life. While led to Crisis on Earth-X and finally more recently, the Invasion of the Body Snatchers inspired, Elseworlds. Its in that last crossover, in which we got Ruby Rose’s take on Batwoman. Now, we are getting our own series of the caped redhead. In the midst of Ben’s shows, hear our thoughts on the pilot of the caped crusader’s cousin. Let us know what you thought about the pilot. If you can’t get enough, be sure to check out our coverage of Kate’s first comic arc, Elegy.
