James Gunn masterfully soars with his follow up to last year’s The Suicide Squad with Peacemaker. The show’s first season is marvelously anchored by John Cena with a career best performance. In the process of the show’s eight episode season, the show manages to tackle heavy topics, deliver great character development and performances from its actors.
